Post to Indeed and ZipRecruiter with the XML feed

Every workspace has an XML feed at /feeds/your-slug/indeed.xml in the format Indeed and ZipRecruiter ingest. Submit the URL once and open jobs sync automatically.

Steps

  1. 1Copy your feed URL from Settings, Integrations, Job boards. It looks like https://ats.apexsales.ai/feeds/your-slug/indeed.xml.
  2. 2Indeed: sign in to your employer account, go to the job feed or XML submission form, and paste the URL. Indeed crawls it several times a day.
  3. 3ZipRecruiter: ask your ZipRecruiter account representative to add the feed URL, or submit it through their employer feed form.
  4. 4Publish a job in Apex. It appears in the feed immediately and on the boards after their next crawl, usually within a few hours.
  5. 5Check the Source column on new applications: applicants who apply through a board are tagged with that board.

The feed contains every Open job with title, description, location, employment type, salary where set, the date published, and the apply URL on your careers page. Paused and closed jobs drop out on the next crawl.

Sponsored posts

Feeds create free organic listings. If you want to sponsor a job, do it inside Indeed or ZipRecruiter against the listing they created from the feed. Apex does not bill for board spend.

Troubleshooting

  • Job not showing: confirm the status is Open and that the feed URL loads in a browser.
  • Wrong location: boards need a city and state or a postal code. 'Remote' alone is treated as nationwide.
  • Duplicate listings: if you also posted the job manually on the board, remove the manual one.
