Prepare an XML feed for Indeed and ZipRecruiter

Apex provides an XML feed of open jobs. Each board must approve its use; creating a feed does not publish a listing.

Steps

  1. 1Copy your feed URL from Settings, Integrations, Job boards. It looks like https://ats.apexsales.ai/feeds/your-slug/indeed.xml.
  2. 2Ask Indeed to confirm the supported ATS publishing route for your employer account, eligibility and billing. Do not assume an employer account can submit an arbitrary feed.
  3. 3Ask your ZipRecruiter representative to confirm feed acceptance and employer attribution.
  4. 4Open an approved job in Apex and verify its feed data. Separately confirm the board listing URL and publication status; no publication time is guaranteed.
  5. 5The feed distributes job details only. It does not bring applications or résumés back into Apex. Use a verified board connector or reviewed import and confirm each source value.

The feed contains every Open job with title, description, location, employment type, salary where set, the date published, and the apply URL on your careers page. Paused and closed jobs are excluded from the Apex feed. Verify removal on each external board separately.

A feed does not guarantee free listings. Eligibility and sponsored campaigns depend on the board, employer and account terms. Confirm the billing owner and budget before starting a campaign.

Troubleshooting

  • Job not showing: confirm the status is Open and that the feed URL loads in a browser.
  • Wrong location: boards need a city and state or a postal code. 'Remote' alone is treated as nationwide.
  • Duplicate listings: confirm the authoritative posting source with the board before changing or removing an existing listing.
